Deloris Husky Obituary

Deloris Etheridge Husky WADMALAW ISLAND - Deloris Etheridge Husky, 85, of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, wife of the late Robert Husky, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 13, 2024. Her Memorial Service will be held April 20, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Johns Island, at 12pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel. Deloris was born January 9, 1939, on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, daughter of the late Pink Etheridge and Mary Smoak Etheridge. She was known as Granny to most and spent majority of her life caring for others. She loved spending time in the yard with her flowers. She is survived by her sister, Mildred Seabrook of Johns Island, SC; daughter, Karen Husky Wright (James) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; granddaughter, Toni Husky (Stuart) of Summerville, SC; great-granddaughters, Addison and Payton; grandsons, Christopher Wright, Alan Wright; and nephew, Ben Walker. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Husky. Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
