David Caines Obituary

David Caines ROCK HILL, SC - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David C Caines; husband, father, brother, and uncle. David put up a valiant fight against pancreatic cancer. He lived his life to the fullest, enjoying music, travel, and his work, Information Technology. He was predeceased by his parents, Bonnie and Richard Caines; and his sister, Geraldine Smith. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Jon (Melissa); daughters, Amanda (Josh) and Lacey (Galen); grandchildren, Carter, Emmett, Paige, Felix, and Linus. He is also survived by sisters, Sara Almon and Kathy Caines, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. We will celebrate David's life with a service on October 18, 2025, 2:00pm at Episcopal Church of Our Saviour in Rock Hill, SC. In lieu of flowers, David would welcome a donation in his honor to Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, York County Choral Society, or Hospice & Community Care of Rock Hill.

David Caines was one of the most devoted members of the York County Choral Society and his voice and council will be sorely missed by all of us. My condolences to Linda, Amanda and his family.
