Darrell and I met as freshmen at Transy and were fellow chemistry classmates,best friends and fraternity brothers. Darrell was a scholar and a gentleman, may God rest his soul.

My mother was Clarice Skaggs of Crockett, Morgan County KY. and her mother was Darrell's mother's sister. I had the privlege of attending the Medical University of South Carolina, medical school and Darrel taught me physiology.He was a great teacher and I could catch his Kentucky accent so well. My condolences to his family,especially Rodney.
