Tracy Lee

May 20, 2010

This is being written on behalf of my brother, "Tracy Lee". He is unfortunately incarcerated and unable to make such contact. He just phoned me after reading the paper, now several days old. He is so hurt by Danny's passing and that he was not aware of his passing to have our family pay respects on his behalf. His heart breaks over this loss and not being able to say good bye to his dear friend. Tracy's words just moments ago were "he was my only true friend and when I came to prison he remembered me as his friend". He said he remembers so much of the teenage years of them, the biggest was strolling up Rivers Avenue and looking for girls, that was a big thing back then.Danny and Tracy met at school where Tracy was the new kid on the block and some boys began to pick a fight with Tracy, Danny called them off, saying leave him alone he is with me. That was the day their friendship began. Danny showed then he was a good man. The two of them signed up and enlisted in the Army together. He also remembers Danny's mother, Ms.Mary and her store so well. He adds what a fine man Danny was and simply thought so much of him. Good and true friends are hard to find.At this sad time my brother and the rest of our family send our condolences to your family. Danny will be sadly missed by all. I know he will live on in each of your hearts just as he will in my brother's heart. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. From my family to yours God bless you all.

Love comes around but a few times in life. To truely know Danny was to have loved him. Even though it was for a breif time; he brought that light into my life. I thank him for that. I am sorry I was not more persistent and let an obstacle deter me. That will not happen in the future where family is concerned. Ma, Linda, Sylvia, Sabrina and Nicole you have my number now. I have your back. I love you always. ~D

Mary, Sylvia, Linda & Richard,
I was very heartsick when I heard the news today of Danny's passing. I thought a lot of Danny and cannot express the sadness I feel for the family. He lived through a lot of tough situations and I know you are beside yourself with the loss of your beloved son and brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. God needed him home. God has a purpose for Danny and God also has a purpose for each one of you. Please know that you have my love and deepest sympathy. I am here if you need me.
Love,
Melinda Miller
