Hey guys, I'm just saying that I'm very sorry about what has happened. I haven't seen either of you in years. Me and my mom and dad (Glenn and Teresa) have put you in our prayers and if there is anything you two need tell us. We are here for you and us and granny and papa were gonna be here for yall. You're like family to us. Send me an e-mail one day, lots happened in the family since we last saw yall.

I just wanted to check on all of you and make sure you were ok. Sometimes it gets lonely after the services are over and you find yourself with new feelings and etc. Have faith. We all love you.

Dear Uncle Danny,
I will miss seeing you whenever Im home helping someone out. I wish that I would have gotten to know you better since you were important to my mom. I wont forget what you and I will miss you. Tell my Granddad Hugh that he has a beautiful grandson named James Davis after him and another one on the way and let the rest of the family know that we love them and we will all be together again one day. I love you Uncle Danny.

You have my heart felt sympahthy for your loss of Danny.
I have not seen or talked to Danny in many years but I always have considered him a friend. I had a lot fun with both Danny and Hughsie in the 60's and 70's and they both looked out for me when they did not have to (and probably shouldn't have) but did it any way. I look forward to our heavenly reunion and wish you all the best.
I will leave you with this statement, "If you need something you let me know and I'll get it for you". That is what Danny and Hughsie would tell when we parted to go our seperate ways (or after too much fun), it always made me feel good and I knew if I needed them they would be there for me.

I lived across the street from Danny during the 50s and 60s. From the time I was 7 or 8 years old until we finished high school, a part of almost every day of my life was spent with Danny and Hugh. We played in the neighborhood together, rode the same school bus, played baseball on the same teams and attended many classes together in high school. Once, when I was in the fourth grade, Danny and I sang a duet for our teachers. It was an Elvis song. I was saddened to learn of his passing. But, please remember, Danny is OK. His is with an amazing God who loves him more than we can imagine. You all are in our prayers. God Bless.

Danny was my best friend in the early 60's.We had alot of fun back then.That's how I'll always remember him.I'm sorry for your loss.I know you'll always miss him.

I met Danny in 1961 at North Charleston High School. It was my first day of 8 th grade and several older boys had cornered me and were shoving me around to show how bad they were. Danny saw what was going on and came to my aid. He had never met me and did this because he knew it was the right thing to do. Needless to say after this happened, I never had anymore problems at school. Danny earned my lasting respect that day. The world will be a sadder place without him. My heart goes out to your entire family.
