Craig’s smile was infectious and his laugh was contagious. When I learned of his passing, the wave of sadness that hit me caught me completely off guard.

We worked together, and Craig was always in high demand—not just because he was great at what he did, but because he could always be counted on to come through. I hadn’t worked with him as long as many others had, yet he treated me as though we had shared a lifetime of work together.

There are people who play an outsized role in shaping who we become and what we accomplish in life. For me, Craig was one of those people—and all it cost me was several bottles of Crown.

Thank you, Craig, for your smile. It will not be forgotten. Thank you for your laugh. It will not be forgotten. And thank you for the many ways you helped me over the years—I would not be where I am today without you.

Now get back out on the golf course—your son is waiting. You two have a lot of catching up to do.
