Cori Bradt Obituary

Corinthia "Cori" King Bradt, 50, of Pineville, SC, a retired assembler with Boeing, passed away Saturday morning at her home after a short and courageous battle.

Cori was born June 19, 1975, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Clayton Scott King and Brenda K. Balmonte King. She was of the Christian faith and lived a life centered around family, simple joys, and the places she loved most. Cori enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband and traveling to Chimney Rock and the surrounding mountains. She also loved spending time on the boat and relaxing by the water, especially at Lake Lure, where she found peace and happiness.

Above all, her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Michael T. Bradt of Pineville; her mother, Brenda King of Moncks Corner; her daughter, Payton Perritte of Moncks Corner; two sons, David Austin King and his wife Anna, and Sean Camron Perritte, all of Moncks Corner; her brother, David O. King and his wife Stephanie of Moncks Corner; and her grandchildren, Connor King, Bentley King, and her granddaughter, Isabella, who is expected to arrive in February.

A visitation to celebrate Cori's life will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Dial-Murray Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461, or by calling (843) 761-8027, to assist with final expenses.

One of the very few people on this Earth who has ever shaped my world. This world, is yours, ours... always. When I leave it, we will have forever.

Thank you Aunt Brenda and Uncle Scotty for raising such a beautiful woman. She conquered all she encountered, in her own style.
