Connie Huggins Obituary

Connie Kay Spielman Huggins MT. PLEASANT - Connie Kay Spielman Huggins, 56, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Gerig Michael Huggins died Monday, July 7, 2014. The relatives and friends of Connie Huggins are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, July 11, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Friday in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Connie was born April 23, 1958 in Flora, Illinois, daughter of the late Charles Buckley Spielman and the late Ruby Mae McDonald Spielman. She was a Registered Nurse at the Medical University of South Carolina and a member of Christ the King Assembly of God Church. Connie was a sweet angel full of magic and life. She poured her love out liberally on all she knew. As a mother, she gave her children a life that we only see in fairytales. As a wife, she gave the passion and love we see in Proverbs 31. As a friend, she was a beautiful rose, her smile was never far away. Connie brought joy to everyone that had the privilege to know her. As a daughter of God, she loved the Lord with exquisite praise and worship. She is irreplaceable, but where she is we can go also. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gerig M. Huggins; daughter, Jennifer Erin Sanchez and her husband, Danny, of Gainsville, GA; two sons, Seth Steven Huggins and his wife, Lisa, of Charleston, SC, and Gerig Michael Huggins II, and his wife, Sophie, of Hanahan, SC; three sisters, Sherri Bundy of Charlotte, NC, Phyllis Nivens of Asheville, NC, and Sandy Thomas of Concord, NC; two brothers, Chuck Spielman of Charlotte, NC, and Jimmy Spielman of Charlotte, NC; and two grandsons, Ezra James Sanchez and Micah Steven Sanchez. Memorials may be made to Assembly of God World Missions, 1445 North Boonville Avenue, Springfield, MO 65802. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston

I had no idea that Connie had died when I went on this site. I was checking arrangements about a friend who died suddenly. T was shocked. Connie was a wonderful nurse and friend when I was working at MUSC. She was probably one of the most compassionate nurses at MUSC and always thought of others. She was very compassionate and giving to all. I am so very sorry but she is in heaven. May she rest in peace.

Our Dear Huggins Faimly, Members of Jesus Christ are connected with you in Sister Connie's passing.
Lord, Thank you for accepting our sister. Although, there's not one that won't miss her. We Praise you for having Connie to shine your Glow throughout her life by being a Christ like Sister, a daughter, a sibbling, a relative, a mother, a friend and a God loving wife. We have a tendancy to ask with selfish thoughts, why did she have to leave us. Then you answer, "No one has a greater love than my son, Jesus."

To the Huggins family,

Words can not express the the way how I feel right now. When I first met Connie, our spirits just click with each other. She has taught me so much about love, giving, and how to sow a seed. She will be miss from church but I know now she is at rest. We know GOD pick this beautiful rose because she was ready but her loving memories will stay with us.
