Christopher Wayne Hodges CHARLESTON - Christopher Wayne Hodges, 29, of Charleston, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at MUSC. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 10 o'clock to 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Funeral will begin at 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Wayne was born on August 30, 1991 in Charleston, SC, son of Charles William Hodges, Jr. of Summerville and Cynthia Dianne Elm of N. Charleston. He graduated from Summerville High School. He loved animals, especially his dog, Bella. He loved his grandparents, Donna and Jerry Elm and enjoyed going to the casino with his grandpa in Cherokee. He enjoyed reading, playing video games and going to the zoo. Survivors, in addition to his parents, are: his dog, Bella; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the upstate.
