To the family and friends of Chuck, I pass my condolences to one of the cherished and influential leaders I knew during my years at Lockheed. I first met Chuck in Charleston when he was the Director at POMFLANT in the early '80s, and his guidance and suggestions significantly influenced my decisions and thinking, although I was from a Sunnyvale department just visiting Charleston to get more insight into program planning. He has been missed since his retirement, and will affect future FBM decisions at Lockheed as long the Navy has that program. He was one of the few great leaders I knew during 30 years at Lockheed. God bless you and your family at this time of sorrow. He will be missed by many. I am glad I knew him.

Susan, Bob, Michele and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He had such a love for life and thank goodness, he lived it to the fullest every minute.
You probably won't remember me, but I was his first Secretary at Pomflant. He was so important to me as my one of my mentors and as a personal friend.
I want to share with you a story about him. He and your Mom came to my parents' home for Christmas Eve several times when they were here. One particular time, Chuck leaned too far back in a recliner and fell into the Christmas Tree and nearly wiped out 'Baby Jesus'. At least that's what your Mom told him. Seeing him lying back in that chair with his feet up in the air was such a shock. Marcia laughed so hard she didn't even help him up. He was beside himself.
I loved visiting their home over the years, or just seeing them each time I traveled to California. The last time I saw him was when he invited us to Robert's Restaurant and introduced us to Susan when they came down to Charleston for a visit several years ago. We had such a wonderful time and meeting Susan was great. I loved hearing from him each Christmas and seeing pictures of your families as they grew up over the years. I will never forget him. My love to you all and our deepest sympathy. We will keep you all in our prayers and be with you in spirit as you go through the memorial service this week. Love to you all.

Michele, Bob,
I just want you both to know how much your dad meant to me. He was and will always be a role model to me. He loved and cared very much for his family and always put them first on his list.
I will miss your father deeply as he was a great mentor, friend, fellow hunter and fisherman, and above all, a man who's morals, convictions, and integrity will be impossible to repeat.
love, ck.

My heart goes out to you and all your family at this time. I never met your dad, Michele, but knowing the person you are tell me he was a fine man. May you find comfort in knowing that you are prayed for and supported by so many friends. Jane Thompson

Our family sends you our condolences for your loss. My husband, Fred Taylor, worked with Chuck at the LMSC base in Charleston, SC. We enjoyed many fun times together and Chuck introduced us to his Ceviche, which we and our daughters loved. We have many fond memories of both Chuck and Marcia.
This is not an easy time for you, but we hope that your dearest memories will bring you comfort in the days ahead.
With sincerest sympathy,
Beverly Taylor and family
