Charles Ellis, Sr. MT. PLEASANT - Mr. Charles Ellis, Sr., 65, son of the late Deacon Willie and Mrs. Cora Lee Ellis Sr., passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The services celebrating his life will be private. A walk-through viewing will be held on this evening from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Long Point Missionary Baptist Church, 1857 Snowden Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 2946. He is survived by his sons, Charles Ellis, Jr. and Bernard Ellis; siblings: Hattie B. Singleton (Isaac), Patricia Washington (James, Sr.), James Ellis, Sr. (Theresa), Anthony Ellis, Moses Ellis, Sr. (Carolyn), Bernard Ellis and Sharon McNeal (Michael); one sister-in-law, Alice Ellis; aunts and uncles: Jerodene Ellis, Rosalee Ellis, Alfreda Gilbert (Elder Samuel), Florine Brown (Rev. Louis), Mildred Pinckney, Betty Ackerman, Wilhelmenia Greene and, Milliard Ackerman, Sr. (Mildred), and a host of other family and friends.
