Charles Cox Obituary

Charles "Cameron" Cox Summerville - Charles "Cameron" Cox, 23, of Summerville, SC passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, January 6, 2017 at 2 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 - 8 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Cameron's name to NBSC, 616 N. Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Cameron was born February 12, 1993 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Ronald W. Cox, Jr. and Kelli Green Cox Stephens. He graduated from Ashley Ridge High School, where he was the first quarterback for the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes and a member of the first graduating class for Ashley Ridge. He played two years of college football at Gray Collegiate Academy. Survivors include his mother, Kelli Cox Stephens of Summerville; stepmother, Sharon Stone of Summerville; 2 brothers, Corey Cox, Trey Cox; his close friend that was like a brother, Jonny Craven, all of Summerville; half brother and 2 half sisters, Kenyon and Kenna Stephens, Arianne Crubaugh of Summerville; step sister and step brother, Courtney and Seth Harrington, of Summerville; Aunt and uncle, Rhonda and Edwin Slavin of Summerville; grandparents, Marion and Suzanne Green of Ridgeville; nephews, Nicholas Byars, Mason Crubaugh, of Summerville; He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Cox, Jr.; his grandparents, Ronald Cox, Sr. and Brenda Cox; and his grandmother, Susan Partee Green.
