To my several dear friends, classmates and "homies" of the Whaley Family: From the days of Cinnie and I and Sam and Rick starting 1st grade together, to this very day our families remain friends with never a cross word between us. Our mothers shared as many moments lately as we shared. On behalf of myself, Mom and the rest of my family, we extend our heartfelt sympathies at the passing of "Ms Cather Mae". She was a joy to know as are her children. May god continue to bless each and everyone of you.

I HAVE LOVED YOU ALL MY LIFE! You claimed me as yours. I was your girl and you would remind me of that everytime that I saw you. I even said, "when I grow up, I wanna be just like you." We would laugh, but I meant it. You smelled to good and was always 'steppin'in some 'bad' shoes!! I've always appreciated how you spoke your mind and dealt with me honestly yet with love. You would say things like, "mind your manners, straighten your back, that dress is mighty short, you better make that child mind you." You taught me to be good to myself and accept nothing less from others. You celebrated life and gave generously of yourself and your time. You weren't going to miss too many good yard sales either. I miss you. You ARE one of my mother's, Virgina Thomas, dearest friends. On behalf of my family, The Pamplins and Thomas', We will forever love and miss you. Your passing hurts me terribly but you are at peace now. Rest for your work here is done. I LOVE YOU MS. CAT!!
