Carolyn S. Northrop Mt. Pleasant - Carolyn S. Northrop, 89, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Lowell Ellison Northrop died Thursday, January 24, 2019. All services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Carolyn was born April 5, 1929 in Norfolk, Virginia, daughter of the late Harry Schad and the late Octavia Lampkin Schad. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lowell "Lou" Northrop of Mt. Pleasant, SC; children, William Eldering of Lexington, SC, Elizabeth "Liz" Chillington of Skowhegan, ME, and Harry Eldering and his wife Lorna of Milford, CT; brother, Roger Schad of Lynn Haven, FL; sister-in-law, Marcia Giarusso of Gorham, ME; fourteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was reunited with three of her daughters that preceded her in death, Paula, Denise (Dee) and Mary. "You Gave Us Love, You are Loved."
