Caroline Williams Obituary

Caroline Whitlock Williams Moncks Corner - Caroline Youmans Whitlock Williams, 86, of Moncks Corner, a retired nurse, first married to Paul Edward Whitlock, Jr., and widow of Frank Boyd Williams, Jr., passed away Monday, March 7, 2016. Mrs. Williams was born May 31, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of Lewin Youmans and Mary Helen Layton Long. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, she was the oldest graduate of her nursing class from Orangeburg Technical College. A long time member of Eastern Star 112,TOPS Club, and the ladies auxiliary of the Moncks Corner VFW. Mrs. Williams had a love for people and will be sadly missed by many. Surviving are four sons-Bruce E, Whitlock and his wife, Alice, of Macedonia; Mark E. Whitlock and his wife, Elizabeth, of Simpsonville; Lance E. Whitlock and his wife, Joan, of Rincon, Ga.; Paul E. Whitlock Sr. and his wife, Sharon, of Cabot, Arkansas; six step-children- Evelyn Finn; Beverly Williams; Patricia McCary; Richard Williams; Charles Williams; Howard Williams; eight grandchildren- Paul Whitlock, Jr.; Ruth Wilson; Melissa Allison; Laura Whitlock; Amy Miller; Charles Whitlock; Catherine Whitlock; Mary Kastner; one step-grandson- Mark Edwards; seven great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at RUSSELL FUNERAL CHAPEL, Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 12 noon. Committal service will follow in Fox Cemetery in Cottageville at 2:30 pm.
