Carole Winemiller Bridges JAMES ISLAND - Carole Winemiller Bridges, 63, of James Island, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 9, 2023, with her devoted husband, Robert Bridges at herside. Born in Chevy Chase, Maryland, Carole was a resiident of James Island for over 40 years. Carole was a dedicatedkindergarten teacher for 38 years. She taught for 33 years at Murray-LaSaine Elementary School and for 5 years at Jennie Moore Elementary School prior to her retirement in 2020. Carole loved being an educator and during her career she nurtured hundreds of children and developed many enduring friendships. Carole is predeceased by her mother, Lois Fiorillo-Winemiller; her father, Robert Winemiller; and brother, Mark Winemiller. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Bridges; son, Aaron Bridges; and nephew, Dylan Winemiller. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at James Island Baptist Church at 2023 Wappo Dr., James Island, SC 29412. There will be a time of visitation prior to the service from 10:30a.m. - 11:30 a.m. when friends are invited to drop-in and visit with the family.
