Carol and I were first cousins on my mother's side. We were a year apart and had similar personalities, so we got along well from the moment we first met. Our families would get together every couple of years. We'd go to the US of A because Carol's family lived in cool places, like Key West, Charleston and Boston (her dad was in the navy). Her house was always full of kids and toys and TVs and food. We had lots of laughs and played all the time. Lots of noise. But time passed and we grew up and apart over the years. The last time I saw her was in 2006-2007 when my wife and I drove down to Carlisle Pa for a car show. Carol and her husband Chuck came over to see us there and then we reciprocated and went to their place on our way home. We picked up where we left off all those years ago. She was easy to relate to and we enjoyed our visit. I will always remember that visit and especially our childhood memories. She will be greatly missed no more than by her siblings. Our condolences to Chuck and the family.
