Who I am, who I want to be, and who I will be are directly related to my Father. I will miss him to the end of my days. So long Pop. I suspect that right this minute he is fixing a countertop in Heaven, and Barb is sitting in the kitchen reminding him that it does not have to be PERFECT, and he could have been done hours ago... Honestly I can see it plain as day. Long may they live.

My dear Pop. I miss you. There's a big hole in my heart where you used to be. I will miss seeing your smiling face when I'd walk through the door each day. I will miss our outings whether for dr. appts, shopping or just for fun. I will miss your stories no matter how many times I heard them, and our laughs. I will miss trying to stay one step ahead of you. You one hot mess! I'm so grateful you left footprints in my life. Just one question...what's your favorite color today?

Mr. Carl was widely respected by employees and patrons of the West Ashley Lowe's for his love for his family, his wisdom, his wealth of knowledge, his keen sense for the aesthetic, and his very dry sense of humor. He has left an empty place in our family.
