Buist Hanahan Obituary

Buist Hanahan RAVENEL, SC - Buist Lucas (Peter) Hanahan passed on to his Great Reward on Feb. 17, 2024. A native of Charleston, Peter was a Low Country Legend who lived life on his own terms. Among his many traits, he liked to rise early, travel the Southland, drink Coca-Cola and eat steak. Born January 15, 1939, the son of William Ogier and Elizabeth Lucas Hanahan, Peter is survived by 2 God Sons, Brad Smith and Mikell Scarborough; and 2 sisters, Elizabeth H. Clark and Frances G. Hanahan. A graveside service will be held on February 21 at 2 pm on Cattell Bluff at Millbrook.
