Brian Gebhard Obituary

Brian Wade Gebhard, born August 31, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late Beneau F.L. Gebhard and Anne Long.

Brian proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He attended Baptist College and was a graduate of Palmer College, where he earned his degree in Criminology. He served as a police officer for the City of Atlanta Police Department and the North Charleston Police Department. After retiring from the police force, Brian continued his entrepreneurial spirit by owning and operating nightclubs and gyms.

He is survived by his loving siblings: Denise Bridges and Vivian Gebhard, both of Fort Worth, TX; his aunt and uncle, Woodrow W. Smith and Laurie M. Martin; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings: Gary L. Gebhard and Irvin L. Brown.
