I am so very sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. He was a good friend of my husband-Pete Rose-from the time they were shipmates on the Fulton. Bobby and Mary helped us find our first home. Pete passed away last July so just know they are having quite the reunion. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Linda Rose

Uncle Bobby,
To say you were a wonderful man is an understatement. After the years I spent in the US Navy I think about the way that you held on to your Christian values. This was not easy to do, and I have always admired you for that. You, Uncle Billy, and Uncle Eric were the main reasons I chose the Navy and I've never regretted it. Thank you so much for being such a powerful and positive role model. The world is a smaller place without you. You will be missed. Fair Winds and Following Seas Shipmate.
