Betty Hayton Obituary

HAYTON, Betty Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday morning, December 26, 2006, Betty Ann Chapman Hayton, widow of Guy Hayton. Residence, Summerville, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL this Thursday evening, December 28, 2006, at six o'clock. The family will receive friends from four o'clock until time of service. Private entombment services will be held in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hayton was born April 2, 1933 in San Antonia, Texas, a daughter of John Chapman and Susie Hensley. She was an avid reader, enjoyed going out to movies and dinner, dedicated to soap operas and enjoyed shopping. She is survived by three daughters, Alesia Rogers of Charleston; Ginger Kelly of Ladson, SC and Denise Smith of N. Matewan, WV; three sons, Jimmy Stacy of Houston, TX, Steven Stacy of Summerville, SC and Larry McCoy of Summerville, SC; three sisters; Otelia Deerfield of Red Jacket, WV, Susan Kay Mahon of Freeburn, KY and Laurell Smith of San Diego, CA; four brothers, Robert Rife of N. Matewan, WV, Windel Rife of Houston, TX, Ralph Rife of N. Matewan, WV and Jennings Rife of North, VA; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Hayton was preceded in death by a brother, William F. Rife. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website, www.jhenrystuhr.com.
