Bernie, I can´t believe you are gone. I am missing those phone calls from you. Also when your birthday was in about 2-3 weeks. You would call and say my birthday is in September. You would tell me what you wanted. Mom and always share memories of you.
We miss and love you Bernie. Take your rest.
Love you,
Deedee

To The Ellis Family
Words cannot express the love that I have for Bernard. He had such a quiet and meek spirit. You would never know that he was in a room with a crowd. He would always call his Aunt Alfreda and always ends his conversation with her, by telling her, I Love You. Bernard loved his family. Family met a lot to him. I was very shocked when I heard of his passing.
Weeping may endureth for a nigh, but joy will come in the morning.
