Kuble Anderson Obituary

Kuble Anderson, age 97, of Moncks Corner, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday morning at a local nursing facility. Born on December 26, 1928, in Union County, Tennessee, he was the beloved son of Jake Anderson and Cora Lee Wallace Anderson. Kuble was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner, where he served faithfully as a Deacon. He played instrumental roles in founding both the Berkeley Baptist Church and Santee Circle Community Church.

Kuble loved spending time outdoors, especially listening to the dogs run during deer hunts as a member of the Southeast Wassamassaw Hunting Club. He also cherished fishing, caring for his vegetable garden, and participating in the Lowcountry Beekeepers Association. Professionally, Kuble retired from the Berkeley County Maintenance Department, where he worked as an Air Conditioning Refrigeration Technician, and he previously served as a supervisor at William Heller. He was a proud graduate of Trident Technical College and an honored veteran of the United States Army.

Renowned for his carpentry skills and affectionately known as "Mr. Fix It," Kuble's resourcefulness and kindness touched many lives. He is survived by his loving wife, Annette Humphrey Anderson; his daughter, Sherry Manning (Gentry) of Summerville; his son, Glenn Anderson (Heather) of Rock Hill; five grandchildren: Gentry Manning II (Mary Elizabeth), Lindsay Forrest (Brady), Colton Anderson (Katelyn), Brianna Anderson, and Sydney Mikkelson; and four great-grandchildren: Anna, Trey, Owen, and Michael.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday afternoon, March 20, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Moncks Corner, directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the service hour on Friday.
