Benjamin Bellman Obituary

Benjamin Bellman Summerville - Benjamin Bellman, 68, transitioned into eternal rest on August 14, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; one sister, Jean Bellman Jones and two brothers, Buster Weeks and David Bellman. Benjamin's wonderful memories will be cherished in the lives of those whom he left behind. His children, Kenyatta Hamilton (Tangela); Makeith Bellman of Charleston, SC; step-children, Candace Coleman and Tiffany Coleman of Barnwell, SC; sister, Jinet Bennett (Pastor Melonard) of Summerville; sister-in-law, Beverly Weeks of Ladson; aunts, Teresa Walker, Lula Mae Canty and Shirley Green of Charleston; Uncle Thomas Bellman (Carolyn), 13 grandchildren, and Special friend, Brenda Alston, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Agape Church of Deliverance in North Charleston, SC. Burial will be in the Cherry Hill Cemetery in Ladson, SC. The walk through will be on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Low Country Mortuary 1852 E. Montague Ave., North Charleston, SC. Due to the COVID pandemic, we will be practicing social distancing and face masks will be required for the funeral services and walk through. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston
