Barry Lipov Obituary

Barry Lipov OLNEY, MD - Barry Irwin Lipov passed away peacefully at his home in Olney, Maryland surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Barry was born March 27, 1937 in Washington DC and lived his entire life in the Washington DC area. Barry graduated from McKinley Tech High School in NE, Washington DC and then served eight years in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. In 1958 he married the love of his life Rose Halle. This past year they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. His career in sales spanned over 50 years serving in several fields most recently working in water management and conservation efforts. Barry's greatest love was spending time with his family and friends. While visiting his children and grand children in Charleston he always made a point of visiting his favorite restaurant, Jestine's Kitchen. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many. Barry is survived by his beloved wife Rose Halle Lipov, his three children and their families; Larry (Jan) Lipov of Charleston, SC; Beth (Neil) Brami of Rockville, MD; Jill (Ron) Tievy of Olney, MD and his six grandchildren, Bryan, Erika, Lauren, Adam, Win and Halle. Barry also leaves behind his sister and brother; Vicki Lipov, Richard Lipov and his wife Jeri. Memorial Services for Barry Lipov will take place Thursday, April 19th 2012 at Dansansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapels, Inc., 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. Interment will be at King David Memorial Gardens, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
