My deepest sympathy to the family of a man I respected and admired. My favorite conversation with Barry was about the Marine Corp. Most specifically we talked about R Lee Ermey. Ermeys TV show, mail call, and opinions about politics. I laughed until my sides hurt, a lot of times, Heck, most of the time. Barry had a great sense of humor. Once we talked about Coffee, how good it can be.That was funny. I laugh thinking about it. I will miss him. He was a good man. God rest his soul.

Hello Shannon and children,
It's very sad to hear of Barry's passing. I know it is very hard to deal with the passing of a loved one. Mourn his passing but cherish the good memories. Like the passing of my precious 36 year old son, the passing of your husband and father is very hard to deal with. I hope I've written comforting words to you and not hurtful.
