Ashton Tyler Chryst LADSON - Ashton "Ty" Tyler Chryst, 21, of Ladson passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 12 o'clock noon at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends the night before for a visitation from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dorchester Paws, 136 4 Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483, or any local animal shelter. Ashton was born on October 22, 2002, in Summerville, SC. He graduated from Fort Dorchester High School, and then went on to work for East Bay Electric. Ashton was the type to find thrill in life. He enjoyed many things like; lifting weights, skydiving, baseball, gaming, and riding his motorcycle. Ashton spent most of his life learning the art of karate and competing in many tournaments. He was also known as a Star Wars Fanatic. Ashton was one of a kind and loved all animals, his friends, and family. He will be missed dearly by many. Ashton is survived by his parents, Paul Henry Chryst Jr., and Kendra Michelle Guinta; step-father, Anthony Salvatore Guinta, Jr.; brothers, Michael Reese Chryst, Martin Perez Baker III, Anthony William Guinta; sisters, Victoria Rose Guinta, Isabella Caroline Denise Guinta, Allison Marie Wyeth; grandparents, Kenneth and Patricia Ganus.
