To the best grandfather anyone could ever have, all though I haven't had as much time with you as many have, the little time that we had was magical. I always wondered how it would feel to have a loving grandpa, like the one's you see on t.v, And then I met you and you were better then anything that I could have ever imagined. I will always remember you as the funny, loving, and kind hearted person that I met when I was 10 years old. No one will ever fill your shoes, And you will forever remain in my heart. I Love You, Your grand daughter.

This is for my Grandpa. The one who always watched me when I got home from school early. The one who showed me that jazz is cool no matter how old you are. The one who danced better than I could. The one who always helped to make visits to Charleston fun. So to my Grandpa, I miss you but I know you're somewhere tickling those ivories in the sky and I'll see you again someday.
Love you Gramps.

To Sharon, Sheila, and the rest of the family... words can't express just how Uncle Arthur touched our lives. My memories will always be of being greeted at the door by a big smile, big kiss, and big hug from a man with an even bigger heart. He and (Aunt Genie) have always been a big part of my life. I am happy that James and Julian had a chance to know him. Mourning this loss is a given, but celebrating the life Uncle Arthur lived will be a lifetime. Love you all. - Tessa, Jermaine, James and Julian

To the Family of the late Mr. Arthur Rivers, Jr., c/o of Sharon, Sheila, and Family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of "Uncle" Arthur and can recall inquiring about him when Sharon and her family visited my church around the corner from St. Patrick's not too long ago. I extend my deepest expression of sympathy, and will keep all of you in prayer. Please be consoled by the fact that he is resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Let "Praises go up so blessings may come down." Certainly, he will be sorely missed.

Prayerfully,
