Pastor Arthur Holmes you were truly a Man of God and a True believer. I was honor to know not just you but your wife also for a while. You are truly being missed by a whole community and I know all the churches that you were involved in. Mrs. Holmes continue to let him watch over you and your children and that beautiful granddaughter he loved so much.

It's hard to believe that it is now 1 year. May the "fruits" of your labor continue to nourish the lives of us left behind.

Rev. A. L. Holmes, a brief encounter, delayed & missed opportunities, but memory of you and your sermon (Nov. 2000) at Mt. Nebo A. M. E. Church, Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC, will stay on my mind. At that sermon in (2000), I received a visitation from a messenger from "God," didn't get to tell you in person, but always spoke re' you. I, thank you sir, "Rest in Peace Servant of God, Your Service Well Done!" To Mrs. Holmes and the rest of the family you have my sincere sympathy and may you all find comfort in the "Lord your God," Amen.
