I just heard of April passing yesterday. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that your special memories will help you cope with the emptiness. May God grant you comfort and peace as you go through this most difficult time.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. Robin has told me of April's strength and courage through the hard times, of which any friend, sister, brother, husband, parent, daughter or son should be proud. It is with a heavy heart I learned of April's death. I had the pleasure of working with April @ Roper ER years ago as she was working on her nursing degree and hoping so much for a baby. God eventually granted her greatest wish, to be a Mother, not once, but twice! He brought her home to be with Him and our hearts will forever miss this amazing woman. May God bless and keep each of you and may you find comfort in knowing that April is no longer suffering and is with her God. I have no doubt that she will be very busy in heaven watching over each of you that she loved so dearly.

I read in the Columbia paper of your loss, and was reminded that my mother, Lois Ann Wyly had been praying for you and for April and her husband and children over this past year. I remember you fondly, and April as a little girl at St. Luke's. You have my deepest sympathy. May you find comfort in the ways her life touched others. To April's family,
I remember April as a dedicated nurse, a devoted mother, and a caring wife. She and the family have been in my thoughts and prayers these long months. Peace is finally hers as she rests in the arms of Jesus. May God grant you who remain comfort that only He can give.

I have never met April however I work with her sister in Florida and have been giving words of encouragement to Robin. It is very difficult having distance separate our bodies, however the love we have for each other keeps the bonds alive. I wish for all who knew April to remember her to keep that bond alive.

It was a great pleasure getting to know April this past year. As a cancer survivor myself, April and I had many conversations about dealing with its affect on our lives and families. She was a great woman and will be very missed. As one of their teachers I can definitely say that her children will continue to be greatly loved by their school family.

My first reaction to hearing about April's passing away was tears streaming down my face and then I took a deep breath. April is ahead of us all and as an Angel of God she will always be watching over her children and family. Today she is pain free and in the hands of Our Lord. I feel her gentle smile. Thinking of April's soft spoken voice, motherly concerns and her strong faith, brings a warm feeling to all of our hearts... Her family and friends were very fortunate to have shared her life of earth. We will look forward to holding her hand in heaven one day. April's concern on this earth was the welfare and mental/physical health of her two children. She deeply loved her family and I will always honor her and remember her as a caring and loving Mother! God Bless April and her family! April now lives on this earth through her dear children whom she loves so much!
