I remember miss Douglas, as my teacher at Bonds-Wilosn high school in 1970. I was glad to have known Annette as a fellow administrator in CCSD. She and I attended at least one workshop together and I admired her openness and good humor. She was a great role model for the students fortunate to have had her for a teacher or a principal.

I will always remember Mrs.Goodwin from Norman C.Toole Middle School. She was hard on me and My sisters but we are so grateful for that because it taught us alot about life. A beautiful person she was. May God wrap his heavenly arms around the family and know she is in a better place.

Spent alot of my time at Brentwood in her office. I've never met another school administrator that cared as much as she did. RIP Ms. Goodwin, you will be truly missed. I have no doubt your presence in heave will make it that much better.

Mrs. Goodwin was my student council advisor when I attended Garrett High School. I spent many mornings with her learning about leadership and life lessons. She was truly an amazing mentor and friend. She can rest easy knowing that she made a difference while on this earth.

Mrs. Goodwin was my principal at Brentwood Middle School (1990-1993). She was a wonderful woman who wanted her students to be safe and successful, and created a healthy environment to do so. I pray for God's comfort for her family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be missed.

Ms. Goodwin was awesome woman. She was my principal at Brentwood Middle. I never had to see her in her office but she did seem to always make a point to stop me in the halls or at lunch just to say hi and ask how I was doing. She truly cared about her students. McClain came by to see her, on that Friday ....but I must say we enjoyed our day, and say our goodbye, she said she was tired!! Simply put, she was the best. I taught under her leadership at Brentwood Middle school. Mrs. Goodwin treated her staff with respect and fairness. She did the same for her students. Annette will be missed as she was a true light in the field of education.

She was principal when I attended Brentwood Middle. She always demanded that we respect the teachers as well as ourselves. I send my prayers and condolences to her family. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

To put it simply, I loved Miss Douglas! She was my teacher when I started high school, and she treated me with the upmost respect and dignity. She taught me that I mattered and that I was expected to bring my best to her classroom everyday. I hope I have done even half that well with my students in my career. I had a reunion with her at a writing conference and, she not only remembered me by name, but could relate stories that we lived. We made plans to write our history as student and teacher living through integration in the early 70's but could not find an interested publisher. She was an amazing person, and I am so glad she touched my life. How fitting that she joined Jesus on His birthday celebration.

I had a pleasure of being a student at Brentwood Middle. I am glad she was the princinpal there. Sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Goodwin has always been a very special person to me. She taught me so much through the years that I taught at Brentwood. I have always admired her direction, leadership, and friendship. Mrs.Goodwin allowed me to be a substitute at Baptist Hill while I was in college and after graduation she gave me my first teaching job. She nurtured me and guided me the best that she could. I could never thank her enough for the opportunity and the growth that came along with it.
