Ann Sprayberry Obituary

Ann M. Sprayberry DANIEL ISLAND - Ann M. Sprayberry, 78, of Daniel Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 6, 2025. A private graveside service will be held, followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Ann was born February 13, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia, daughter of the late James A Morton and Della Wilkins Morton. She was a Physician's Assistant and owned multiple offices around the Charleston area. Ann was a short little lady with a very large personality! She also had huge love for animals, taking care of others and was extremely involved with anything to do with Mary Beth. She loved fishing, shrimping, boating and just being the life of the party! When she became sick with dementia, she moved into The Marsh at Carolina Park. They took amazing care of her and it became her home! She is survived by her only daughter, Mary Beth Stanley (Paul) of Daniel Island; the joys of her life, Taylor Hines (Will), her twin grandsons, Davis and Gavin Stanley. She also had 2 adorable great- grands, Kennedy and Liam Hines. She is also survived by her stepsons, Michael Sprayberry (Laura), Chris Sprayberry (Annette), and Jeff Sprayberry (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Alison, Megan, Brittany, Chelsea, Will, Jake and Jessy. She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Allen W. Sprayberry, Jr. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) in keeping with Ann's love of helping those in need. Donations may be sent to ECCO at 1145 Six Mile Rd., Mt. Pleasant SC 29466; or to Berkeley and Charleston Animal Society, 131 Central Berkeley Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461; 2455 Remount Rd., North Charleston, SC 29406. Prayers and love to Mary Beth and her beautiful family. I got to know Ann at The Marsh and quickly fell in love with her and her adoring family. It was such a pleasure to know Ann. She was definitely a spark and very funny, as well as caring and sweet. We were blessed to know her.
