Angel Reid Obituary

Brian, I just today found out about Angel's passing from Ellen. I am very, very sorry; our family is thinking about you and your girls. Please call me if I can be of any help to you.

My heart is heavy for all of you and for myself. Angel and I (her niece, even though we were only 15 months apart) were apart for too long. I'm so glad we had a few moments together before she went to be with the Lord. I take comfort in knowing she's no longer suffering. I've been cherishing the memories of our childhood, although at first it was hard to remember...I soon realized my memories were not of her, but with her. We were always together for almost the first half of my life - side by side. My memories were her memories. I am here for all three of you and hope that we might have a relationship in the future. God bless you all and I pray that peace washes over you as each day passes.

I was so very sad to see that Angel passed away. Though many years have passed since she babysat my first child, Shannon, i thought of her often and tried to locate her a couple of times but i was not successful with my search . What stands out in my mind about Angel, was her radiant smile and contagious laughter. She was such a beautiful person .Once you met Angel... you could never forget her.

Brian and family, I cannot express in words the way Angel touched my life and what profound effect she had on our community! I am blessed to have been in her presence and been inspired by her daily.
