My heart is heavy for all of you and for myself. Angel and I (her niece, even though we were only 15 months apart) were apart for too long. I'm so glad we had a few moments together before she went to be with the Lord. I take comfort in knowing she's no longer suffering. I've been cherishing the memories of our childhood, although at first it was hard to remember...I soon realized my memories were not of her, but with her. We were always together for almost the first half of my life - side by side. My memories were her memories. I am here for all three of you and hope that we might have a relationship in the future. God bless you all and I pray that peace washes over you as each day passes.

Dear Brian and Summer,
I was fortunate enough to be blessed by Angel on a daily basis. She was always so good to my son and I as we visited the cafe most mornings on our way to school. She always had a smile on her face no matter what. To lose a wife or parent is always hard but I know Angel will be watching over you. May God show you Peace.

Cherokee prayer...
You are part of me now
You touched me,
With your kindness and love
So enchanted.
Your soft lips are kind.
Your eyes glow with life.
I'm glad you touched me,
You're part of me now.

I was so very sad to see that Angel passed away. Though many years have passed since she babysat my first child, Shannon, i thought of her often and tried to locate her a couple of times but i was not successful with my search . What stands out in my mind about Angel, was her radiant smile and contagious laughter. She was such a beautiful person .Once you met Angel... you could never forget her.

• What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why she left this earth so soon, or why she left before you were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived. And that her life gave you memories too beautiful to forget. Our condolences and prayers are with you and your family.
