Alvin L. Bradley N. CHARLESTON - Alvin L. Bradley, 84, of North Charleston, widower of Virginia Bradley, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro. Funeral Services will be held at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11 o'clock AM. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston. Alvin was born on February 24, 1930 in Elwood, MD son of the late Lumbertine C. Bradley and Reta M. (Cummings) Bradley. He retired from the United States Air Force as a flight line cargo handler. He then went on to retire from Robert Bosch. Alvin was a member of the VFW, Post 3142. He loved fishing, gardening, farming and motorcycle riding. Surviving are: two daughters: Wendy Bradley-Weber of Summerville, SC and Patricia Gail Bishop of Hampton, VA; two sons: Dana L. Bradley of Texas and Bobby H. Bradley (Roxanne) of Racine WI; 12 grandchildren: Chasity Vigott, Kimberly Robin Beckman, Charlie Elizabeth Pierpont, Tina Marie Jones, Jennifer Bradley, Bobby H. Bradley II, James A. Bradley, Michael Martin, Troy Bishop, Zachary C. Bradley, Phillip D. Bradley and Joshua D. Bradley; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers: Gerald Bradley (Sue) of Texas and Wayne Bradley (Nita) of Delaware; three sisters: Ruth Gensler (Buddy) , Nancy Passwaters (Harland) and Brenda Gelston (Snuffy) all of Maryland.
