Alice Brown Obituary

Alice Brown POPLAR BLUFF, MO - Mrs. Alice Brown, 90, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her residence in Poplar Bluff. Alice was born January 6, 1927 to Henry and Zula (Middleton) Freeman in Charleston, SC. On June 26, 1949 she married Samuel Brown in New York, NY. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1995. Alice is survived by her three children, Samuel (Gwendolyn) Brown of Woodridge, NY, Gordon (Donna) Brown of Palm Bay, FL, and Cynthia (Rex Rattler, Sr.) Brown of Poplar Bluff, MO; sister, Amelia (Isiah) Ferguson; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service for Mrs. Alice Brown will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, 2 p.m. at Hillsboro Brown Cemetery, (Ashleyville, West Ashley), Charleston, SC.
