Alexander Peiser Obituary

Alexander Clifford Peiser HANAHAN - Alexander Clifford Peiser passed away on October 10, 2017. Alex was a junior at Hanahan High School who was a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Clubs, and he was active in theater and the Hanahan Marching Pride Band. His interest in theater began early and he appeared in productions of "The Little Mermaid", "Hairspray," "Romeo and Juliet 31 Flavors" and "Juvie." Alex was a member of the Circular Congregational Church, Charleston, SC and was active in the youth group. He enjoyed many activities throughout his life including: Cub Scouts; Boy Scouts and Songaham Taekwondo. Alex had a keen intellect, mischievous humor, radiant spirit and a loving heart. He wanted all of his friends and family to know that he loved them, and specifically stated that if he had any conflicts with anyone, he had forgiven them and that those conflicts should be forgotten. His last wish was that his friends and family would remember only the good times they shared together. We loved and continue to love Alex deeply and will miss him dearly. His family includes Alex's mother, CAPT Sharon Winkler, MSC, USN, Ret.; his step-father, Noel Sterrett; his brother, Robert S. Peiser III; his father, Robert S. Peiser, Jr.; his step-sister, Natalie Sterrett, his nephew and niece, Robert S. Peiser IV and Reagan Peiser; his aunt, Marijean Reith, his uncle, Bryan Reith, his cousins Jessica Reith and Zac Reith and his grandmothers Jean Sterrett and Kayleen Hart Winkler. A celebration of Alex's life will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401. I often still find my self thinking of your bright face. Whether after seeing a winter ladybug or revisiting photos that are buried in my camera roll. I don't know how many time's I've watched that video of us doing improv in class. I try to carry your light with me everywhere I go. But the pain of you not being here still finds its way through on some days. I miss you, Alex. I miss you so very much. <3

Alex was such a funny and loving kid. Everyday when we had lunch in 9th grade, he would always make me and Chance laugh! He was so sweet, and could always make me smile. That's what I keep looking back on, those fun memories with him. I'm so sorry for your loss, and know that you're not alone in this. I think about him every day...I miss him so much.

Since the first news circulated about the passing of your son,I have been brokenhearted as I've searched for answers of 'a why' Why such a young life and fellow classmate of my daughter(Alexandra) that we call Alex, such a gifted talented life isn't with us anymore.May the Lord in heaven just embrace him in his everlasting love till we all meet again one day.Its obvious how much you love him. I am so sorry for this great loss. There are simply no words.
