Alan Goer Obituary

When I remember Alan it is with smiles and caring. We started with a business relationship with his Mom & Dad and developed a close friendship. Whenever he visited New York City alone or with Wendy ,we had the best time! lots of laughter & stories.

We knew Alan when he join Goer mfg. He was engaging, enthusiastic , charming and enjoyed living in the moment. From a business relationship ,evolved a friendship pre & post Wendy. We enjoyed many years of friendship along with his dear parents Mimi &Ernie.Gale &Jeff Spitalnik. New York connection

During our time in Providence, Rhode Island Linda and I became friends with Alan and Wendy our neighbors on Benefit Street. We enjoyed some great parties and food with them and found them both to have a joyful take on life. Alan spoke often and proudly of his grandchildren and never hesitated to share his latest photographs of them. Sports and team standings were also often on his mind. Wendy, our hearts go out to you. I worked with Alan for several years. He was a kind and generous guy, and a real character. I´m sad to hear he died do young and wish him and his family God´s peace as they remember him.

Gale Spitalnik remembers wonderful years of friendship, visit & hugs with Ernie,Mimi &Alan&Wendy. We shared great times with Jeff who passed 15 years ago at 70.

Dear Wendy and family,
I was saddened to hear about Alan's passing. You and he were a big part of my growing up years on Hibben Street and now that I live back in the neighborhood, I often reminisce about those times. I hope the many happy memories of Alan will comfort you in this time of grief. L
