Rosetta Beckett Obituary

Rosetta Rollins Beckett, affectionately known as "Rosey" to her family and friends, was born on June 5, 1941, in Goose Creek, South Carolina, to the late Frank Sr. and Richardine J. Rollins. She received her early education in the Berkeley County school system and, shortly after graduating high school, relocated to New York City, where she pursued further education and employment while preparing for a new chapter of life alongside her sisters, Isabelle and Deloris.

Rosetta entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2025 in Teaneck, NJ.

There will be a walk-thru on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 5-7PM at the Ministry of Rivers Funeral Home Chapel, 421 Redbank Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445.

Home Going Service will be on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00AM at Joshua United Methodist Church, 3097 Old Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

Interment in Joshua UM Church Cemetery (formerly Cayce Cemetery), Goose Creek, SC 29445.

Rosetta Rollins Beckett leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted husband, Charles Beckett; her beloved son, Charles Dallas Beckett II (Guerda); her mother, Richardine Rollins; her siblings, Isabelle, Frank Jr. (Debra), Lelia, Alvin (Raina), and Levern (Keith); her in-laws, John (Jessica) and Ruby; her godson, Anthony Jiggetts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Maxwell and Deloris.

Rosetta will be remembered for her faith, grace, generosity, love of family, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Her life stands as a beautiful testament to service, family, and the quiet strength of a woman who gave fully of herself.
