Alvatia Chisolm Obituary

She loved her church like sacred ground, each pew a place where grace was found. With faithful steps and humble praise, she served the Lord all her days. Her children were her earthly joy, her greatest work, her proudest toil. She prayed them through both night and morn, spoke hope into each soul she formed. In ministry, her heart stood tall, answering God's quiet call. Not seeking fame, nor worldly gain, but lifting others through joy and pain.

On Monday January 23, 2026; God in His infinite wisdom, called His daughter Alvatia Coletia Chisolm, 72, of Charleston, South Carolina from labor to reward.

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Chisolm will be on Friday February 06, 2026 at 11 AM, House of God North Charleston, South Carolina.

There will be a viewing for Mrs. Chisolm on Thursday February 05, 2026 from 5-7 PM

Interment in the Sunset Memorial Gardens

The most precious memories of Mrs. Chisolm will resound in the life of her beloved children; Harold (Aleta) Brown, Mary Chisolm, Marc Chisolm, Jeremiah Chisolm and Martha Chisolm, grandchildren; Daranus D'Anthony Chisolm-Holmes, Janoah Leroy Brown, Nehimiah Johnson, Jeremiah Chisolm, Sta-aysha Goodman, Bentley Scott and Ka'miah Kirkland. Siblings; Percy Brown, Sharon Brown, and Adrian McNair. A host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
