Ashlee Gibbs Obituary

She was young, too young, with so much life inside, a mother whose world was her daughter's smile. Love followed her everywhere she went, in every sacrifice, in every mile. Her daughter was her greatest joy, her strength, her light. A love so deep it still surrounds, holding her child day and night. She cherished her friends like chosen family, laughing loud, loving true. Memories made in ordinary moments now feel sacred, precious, and new. She found freedom riding four wheelers, wind on her face, fearless and free. Those trails now echo with her laughter, a reminder of who she'll always be. A caregiver by heart, by soul, by calling, she healed with presence, patience, and grace. Even in exhaustion, she kept giving, leaving kindness in every place.
On Monday January 12, 2026; God in His infinite wisdom, called His daughter Ashlee Sierra Gibbs, 29, of Huger, South Carolina from labor to reward.
Celebration of Life for Ashlee will be on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 11 AM, Charity AMEC Huger, South Carolina.
Interment in the Royal Chapel Cemetery
There will be a viewing on Monday January 19, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Suburban Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitors are welcomed at the Gibbs family home from 4PM-9PM ONLY. Please be mindful and respectful of the family as they navigate this heartbreaking tragedy.
The most precious memories of Ashlee will resound in the life of her beloved family. Her daughter; Kyndall Amora Butler Gibbs, parents; Calvin and Sarah Ann Gibbs, siblings; Calvin L. Gibbs Jr., Amber (Joseph) Smith and Raven Bess, grandmother; Rosa L. Gibbs, nieces; Anasia Gibbs, Ariah Smith, Loghan Smith, and Skylar Smith, nephews; Tyrique Minus, Nasir Ward, Tajuan Gibbs, Kyrie Gibbs, and Liam Smith. Aunts; Karen (Clifford) Smith, Rosalyn (Terrence Sr) Alls, Sandra Bess, Carolyn Brunson, and Juanita Bess. One uncle: Edward Bess. A host of cousins and friends.
