William Burkett Obituary
AIKEN, SC - Memorial services for William Henry "Will" Burkett, Jr., 44, of Aiken, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Howard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mr. Burkett passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016. Born in Newberry, he was a son of Henry and Frances Rhoden Burkett.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sisters, Michelle Loftis (Todd) of Columbia and Joslyn Morton (Jared) of Richmond, Virginia; a nephew, Jackson Loftis and a niece, Grace Morton.

I really never knew Wil. He is happy,pain free, free, he still loves all of us. we know he cared for everyone. Now all that faith, loyalty, kindness, con passion, has made him who he is and were glad we got to be around Will till his last moments . I'm thankful he was put on this earth to share his gifts. Mr. Henry and Mrs. Frances, Michelle, and Joslyn, I was so very saddened to hear about Will - I couldn't believe it, honestly. So many of my classmates and I have wonderful memories of fun times that we shared with Will - you do too and I pray that these are a comfort to you at this time. I cannot imagine the sense of loss that you are feeling but want you to know that we are all mourning with you and praying for you. My family and I send along our most heartfelt condolences.
