Ted Baker Obituary

North Augusta, SC-Memorial Services for Mr. Ted A. Baker, 88, who entered into rest March 12, 2026, will be conducted Saturday afternoon, March 21st at 4 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Chris Eubanks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Baker was born in Cottonwood, Arizona, raised in Exeter, CA, having made North Augusta his home for over 30 years. He was a US Army Veteran and retired as a Master Carpenter with JC Stockton & Son. Mr. Baker was an avid fisherman and throughout his life greatly enjoyed fishing with loving wife. He loved animals, particularly his dog Rusty. During the last few years of his life, Mr. Baker faithfully studied his bible daily. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jones Baker; two daughters, Lynn Smith and Linda Ann Knight; a grandson, Ben Smith.

Survivors include four children, Carole K. Wilson,, Ted A. Baker, II (Sheryl), Howard Baker (Angela), and Vicki L. Boyd (Paul); a sister, Bobbie Jean Carpenter (Gary); six grandchildren, Leslie Enfinger (Thomas), Linda Camak (Gil), Ted A. Baker, III ( Mary Beth), Jay M. Baker, Benjamin Baker, and Philip Patch; nine great-grandchildren.
