Sylvia Jones Obituary
AIKEN, SC - A celebration of life services for Sylvia Ann Edwards Jones, 72, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday December 27, 2015 at Dixiana Baptist Church 3516 Charleston Hwy., West Columbia.
Family will receive friends and guest at 2:00 pm. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel is assisting the family.
Ms. Jones entered her rest on Saturday, December 5, 2015 after a short battle with acute respiratory distress syndrome and breast cancer. Born on January 23, 1943 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Leon E. Edwards and Betty Alberta Causey Edwards.
She is survived by a son, Del Lucas (Diane), daughter, Laurie Smith (Doug), 8 grandchildren, Anthony, Tiffany, Michael, Courtney, Grayson, Caleb, Danielle and Pierce, 5 great grandchildren, Elijah, Chloe, Mina, Reese and Ire.
She is preceded in death by siblings, Milton Edwards and Patrick Edwards. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Pink Ribbonettes Attn. Treasurer P. O. Box 5415, Aiken, SC 29804.
