Patsy Carlin Obituary
Aiken - Patsy Ruth Hudson Carlin, age 82, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Mrs. Carlin was born December 20, 1938 in Aiken County, SC to the late Murray and Cora Hudson. She was a life-long area resident and member of Edisto Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Rae Carlin; a sister, Virginia Turner; and a brother, Gerald Hudson.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Hendricks (Kenneth) & Brenda Padgett (Bill), all of Aiken, SC: two sons, Dennis Carlin (Roxanne) Sharpsburg, GA & Kenneth Carlin, Aiken, SC; ten grandchildren, Ben Efird (Angie), Heather Foss (Ryan), Rachel Simmons (Kyle), Rebecca Royer (Chris), Brandon Williams (Claire), Chad Padgett (Carli), Lauren Carlin, Brooke Carlin, Korilyn Hendricks, and Ashton Hendricks; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Snipes (Richard) and Frankie Munn; and two brothers, Oneal Hudson and Lewis Hudson (Debra).
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at George Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in The George Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Hanna officiating. Interment will then follow in Edisto Baptist Church Cemetery, Williston, SC.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
