Naomi Zink
Aiken, SC - Mrs. Naomi Joan Gibbs Zink, 94, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Aiken Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Zink was born in Bowling Green, OH, and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Naomi Bemis Gibbs. Mrs. Zink was a member of the Eastern Stars Beta Sigma Phi. She was also a longtime member of the United Church of Christ in Haskins, Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (John) Farricker, Aiken; son, David (Glenda) Zink, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Zink, Christopher (Erica) Zink, Gregory Zink, Brittany (John) Haagenson, Erin (Jonathan) Ferguson, Kellie Farricker and Wendy (Matt) Reynolds; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlo "Van" Zink; sisters, Donna Schadenfroh, Verna Brown and Ruth Gibbs; and brothers, Tom Gibbs and Gordon Gibbs.
A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday, January 22, 2026, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The Reverend Grayson "Butch" Blackwell will officiate. A private entombment will be held at the Aiken Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The funeral service will be livestreamed at https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156599/c/585055
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Zink, Daniel Ferguson. Tyler Rembowski, Barry Bierman, Ken Wandless, Tom Kessing and Jonathan Ferguson.
Memorials may be directed to The Aiken Heart Association (www.awhb.org), or a local hospice organization of choice.
