Aiken, SC - A celebration of life service for Mr. Harold Edward Anderson, age 80, will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday March 22, 2026 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. David Richardson and Rev. Barry Epps officiating. Interment will be held at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Anderson entered into rest on Tuesday March 17, 2026 at his residence. He was the husband of Mrs. Vera Bledsoe Anderson. They shared 63 years together. Harold was born in Batesburg, SC, he was the son of the late Mr. Berley and Mrs. Julia Anderson. He was the founder of A&A Septic Service and was the owner of Anderson Mobile Home Movers in Aiken, SC. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was former President of Aiken Antique Power Association and current President of Center Fire Department, Aiken. He enjoyed fishing, restoring antique tractors, his family, and being surrounded by big crowds. He was happiest when his grandchildren and great grandchildren spent time with him. He will be remembered for his loving, welcoming of everyone. He is survived by wife, Vera Bledsoe Anderson; children Gregg (Taunda) Anderson; sister Dorothy "Dot" Brunson; grandchildren Daryl (Sarah) Anderson, Rachel Anderson (Thomas Seigler), Lauren (Tony) Hartley, Logan Reynolds (Katie Olson); great grandchildren Jessie and Scarlett Anderson, Leelan Seigler, Hunter, Aleyiah, and Parker Hartley, and Wren and Colter Reynolds. Pallbearers will be Jamey Bledsoe, Tony Hartley, Travis Price, Kyle Harris, Bert Lucas, and Matt Harden. Honorary pallbearers will be Center Fire Department and Aiken Antique Power Association. He was preceded in death by daughter Janet Bentley and brother George Wall. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to the Central Baptist Church Cemetery or the Central Baptist Church heating and air fund 1652 Wire Rd. Aiken, SC 29805. A visitation with the family will take place 4-6 pm Saturday March 21, 2026 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY AIKEN, SC, 29801.
