Michael Waters Obituary
LANGLEY - Mr. Michael Eugene "Mike" Waters, 41, of Langley, SC, husband of Catherine Owens Waters, entered into rest on Sunday, August 22, 2021, following a brave and courageous battle with Covid.
Born in Walla Walla, WA and a resident of Aiken County, SC, since 1986, he was a son of Deborah Cunningham Waters and the late Hugh Everett Waters, Jr. Mike was a Lineman with Lewis Tree Service. He was an avid DAWG fan and enjoyed fishing and most importantly being with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include daughters, Cassie Newsome and Zoie Newsome, both of the home, siblings, Tonya Holsomback and Burrell Waters, both of Warrenville, SC; nephews and nieces, Aaron Leaphart, Madison Waters, Logan Long, Kayser Long and Cayden Long and a great-nephew, Easton Kendrick.
Friends will be greeted by the family on Thursday, August 26, 2021, beginning at 3 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Dexter Lambert will officiate.
