Graniteville - Ms. Mary Alice Jones Holsonback, age 95, of Graniteville, S. C., wife of the late Edward E. Holsonback and daughter of the late William J. Jones and the late Lettie Mae Wise Jones, entered into eternal rest at Pruitt Health in Rock Hill, S.C. on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Buck Cleckley; a sister, Lucille Jones Berry and a grandson, Ron Cleckley.
She was born in Aiken County, S.C. She was a devoted member of St. John's Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for 60 years. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 95 precious years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly Home, where all is peace and joy in a land of endless tomorrows. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain.
A private service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Alan Quarles officiating. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street. Graniteville SC, 29829 is in charge of all arrangements.
