MARIA DEL SOCORRO HERNANDEZ
Maria Del Socorro Hernandez, 61, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family: husband, Francisco Hernandez; mother, Margarita Perez and children, Florencio (Juana Garcia) Hernandez, Fermin (Betty) Hernandez and Marlen (Cesar) De La Cruz; one brother, Alberto Hernandez; a sister, Rosa Valdez; and seven grandchildren.
Visitations will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. today Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Guerra Funeral Home "Chapel of the Holy Family."
A chapel funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at Guerra Funeal Home "Chapel of the Holy Family." Interment will follow at Guillen Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Guerra Funeral Home of Brownsville, 3955 Coffee Port Rd., (956) 544-1171.

PARA MI MADRECITA.
Vivo en una estrella radiante de luz, no lloren mi ausencia estoy con Jesus. Cuando llegue al cielo y vi su faz, mi alma dichosa se lleno de paz. El dios de los cielos sano toda herida,me tendio su mano y encontre la vida. Un coro de angeles me vino a encontrar. Que mas quieren hijos mios,dejen de llorar. Yo desde mi estrella los puedo mirar,denme su sonrisa para descansar.
